Congratulations to Wayne Sheldrake’s Instant Karma: The Heart and Soul of a Ski Bum for winning ForeWord Magazine’s Gold prize for Adventure/Sports books. The award was announced today in Los Angeles, and can be seen here on their web site. We are so excited and proud of Wayne’s achievement.
We are also proud to note that
Boxing for Cuba was a finalist for ForeWord’s autobigoraphy category, and is also a finalist in the High Plains Book Award for nonfiction. We’ll keep our fingers crossed and let you know when we know something.
And Liz Holzemer’s Curveball: When Life Throws You a Brain Tumor won an award from the Colorado Authors’ League.
