Submission Guidelines for book proposals:
What we’re looking for:
NEW SUBMISSION PROCEDURE! NO POETRY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
EMAIL SUBMISSIONS NOW ENCOURAGED AND PREFERRED
What we’re looking for:
Socially relevant, provocative fiction.
Nonfiction/Memoir that tells a story and provides historical context.
We do not publish genre fiction. We encourage you to explore the books we have already published to see if your book might be a good fit with our catalog.
We read prose manuscripts from January to July.
To have your fiction or nonfiction considered, send a query, synopsis, an idea of your potential market and audience, your publication history, and three sample chapters to info@ghostroadpress.com If we are interested in reading more, you’ll hear from us.
We are not reading new poetry manuscripts until further notice.
It typically takes between three to eight months. Simultaneous submissions are okay. If you get accepted elsewhere, simply send us an email notification
